Micro-A748Lite Development Kit

The ARM Processor is a RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computer) machine. The RISC instruction set is primarily known for smaller number of instructions and higher throughput at a lower power.

The ARM Architecture is characterized by the following

  • Load-store architecture.
  • Fixed length 32 bit instructions in ARM Mode and 16 bit instructions in THUMB Mode.
  • Three address instruction format.

The Micro-A748 Lite Development board is based on the LPC2148 chip from NXP. The microcontroller works at a maximum frequency of 70 MHz. it has a on-chip ram of 96 KB and Flash memory of 512 KB. The Micro-A748 Lite Development Board has the basic UART for flash programming and most of the port pins are available on connectors to the user for interfacing various standard peripherals with the board.
